Genie L. Gnagi is President and Founder of Works From The Heart, Inc., a manufacturer of hand-beaded, officially licensed collegiate jewelry. In the Fall of 2000, Gnagi started Works From The Heart beading bracelets for family and friends. Works From The Heart, Inc. has doubled sales figures annually since FY2000, managing all aspects of the business and personally making all products.

After moving to Kansas in 1998, Gnagi became fascinated with the power of spirit in the surrounding high schools and universities. With the ability to personalize every piece of jewelry especially for retail customers, the Heartfelt Spirit line of jewelry is a high-quality product that captures the excitement and enthusiasm people feel for their school of choice. Finally there is a sports and school related product manufactured expressly for females!

Works From The Heart, Inc. obtained CLC licensing approval in 2003 for the University of Kansas and Kansas State University. Along with the high school spirit line of jewelry designs, Works From The Heart, Inc. has been able to develop a complete line of school spirit jewelry for the state of Kansas. Most recently, Works From The Heart, Inc. obtained CLC licensing approval for University of Oklahoma and University of Missouri. Sales for these two newly-licensed universities in first quarter FY2005 have exceeded expectations for this time of the year.

Backed by ambition and desire to run all aspects of my own business, Gnagi has taught herself the skills to develop two websites, using FrontPage and HTML language, to expand retail and wholesale markets. Works From The Heart now has returning customers from coast-to-coast.

Gnagi is a member of the National Association of Collegiate Stores and the Topeka Chamber of Commerce.

Gnagi is the devoted wife of an officer in the Air National Guard and a mother of four beautiful girls.
